Ohio 83rd Division Tshirt – Green

We are Ohio proud and proud of our Ohio Veterans. The US Army 83rd Ohio Division or “Thunderbolt” was a formation in the US army during WWI and WWII. We created our new Ohio 83rd Division Tshirt design by recreating the OHIO shoulder insignia front and center. It is as iconic and cool as the history behind it. The original shoulder insignia has been incorporated on the left sleeve and the United States flag on the right sleeve.

The regulation states that when authorized for application to the proper uniform the American flag patch is to be worn, right or left shoulder, so that “the star field faces forward, or to the flag’s own right. When worn in this manner, the flag is facing to the observer’s right, and gives the effect of the flag flying in the breeze as the wearer moves forward. The appropriate replica for the right shoulder sleeve is identified as the ‘reverse side flag’.”

Fun Fact: Ohio has a very unique flag since it is the only state flag in which it has a triangle cut out of it. Wear this unique flag with pride.
